Lotte Wellfood has launched a protein-based nutrition brand, ‘Pasteur Protein Plus (+)’, which contains over 20 kinds of vitamins and minerals. The brand targets the growing domestic protein market, which is estimated to be worth KRW 450 billion ($380 million) in 2023, up from KRW 81.3 billion in 2018. The ‘Pasteur Protein+’ range includes a ready-to-drink product and a powder product, both designed to meet the diverse needs of consumers, including those with lactose intolerance.
