The move aims to improve the real-time monitoring and control of the generation capacity of decentralized generators, which has become increasingly important due to the growing difficulty of power grid operation during off-peak seasons. Meanwhile, KEPCO’s Audit Office has signed an ‘Audit Business Cooperation Agreement’ with the Audit Office of the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation to enhance audit expertise and internal control, agreeing to cooperate on sharing audit cases and techniques using IT technologies such as AI and big data analysis.
