The Homeland Innovation Party is restructuring its organization for next year’s local elections, appointing 49 local chairpersons from 45 regions. The local committee is based on the electoral districts of local self-governing bodies, not the National Assembly’s 254 electoral districts. The party aims to perform the inherent functions and roles of local politics by rooting in the lives of local residents, and plans to select competent local chairpersons through innovative political newcomer discovery, party member education, and local talent development projects.
