The South Korean National Assembly’s Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee has passed a revision of the ‘Special Act on Metropolitan Transportation Management’ (Daegwang Act) to include cities with a population of 500,000 or more that are the seats of provincial offices within the metropolitan area.
