The Democratic Party of Korea has announced its ’20 key livelihood issues’, which include expanding local currency like local love gift vouchers and increasing relief for rental fraud victims. The issues were selected through review and discussion in three subcommittees: Small and Medium Business and Self-Employment Committee, Labor Society Committee, and Finance and Housing Committee. Other issues include guaranteeing a four-day work week, abolishing coal-fired power generation, lowering surcharge rates, limiting holidays for mandatory closure of large marts, and introducing parental leave and sickness allowance for self-employed people.
