Jeong Jeom-gyu, CEO of Genbody Inc., a company that manufactures diagnostic medical devices, donated 50 million won to his alma mater, Geochang Daeseong High School. Genbody, established in 2012, was the first to develop and commercialize a diagnostic kit during the Zika virus outbreak in 2015 and has been instrumental in the COVID-19 pandemic by developing rapid diagnostic kits. Last year, it established a production plant for diagnostic antigens and antibodies in Geochang County.
