Consumer confidence in South Korea’s Gyeongnam region has slightly declined, according to the Gyeongnam Consumer Trends Survey by the Bank of Korea’s Gyeongnam branch. The Consumer Sentiment Index (CSI) for March was 96.4, down 0.8 points from the previous month, due to factors such as current living conditions and future spending expectations. The CSI for future housing prices rose by 3 points, indicating increased optimism in the real estate market, but the CSI for future wage levels fell by 4 points, raising concerns about a decrease in real income.
