The Nowon District Office in Seoul has submitted a redevelopment plan for the Sanggye Jugong 6 Apartment Complex to the Seoul Metropolitan Government. The plan aims to transform the existing complex of 2,646 households in 15-story buildings into a high-rise apartment complex with up to 49 stories and 3,676 households. The plan was revised to increase the floor area ratio through the application of ‘Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Complex Improvement Zones’ and other measures, in response to feedback that ‘review of compatibility with ongoing district unit planning revisions was necessary.’
