LG Energy Solution will debut new products for Energy Storage Systems (ESS) at ‘InterBattery Europe 2025’. The company plans to begin operations at its European base, the Wroclaw plant in Poland, in the second half of this year. LG Energy Solution will reveal a new 20ft standard container-type ESS product for power grids, using European-made LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) cells. The product will feature the latest ESS-specific LFP cell JF2S, expected to be produced at the Wroclaw plant. LG Energy Solution also plans to establish a dedicated ESS line at the Wroclaw plant and start producing ESS batteries by the end of this year.
