Korean Air plans to import aircraft and engines worth 48 trillion won from Boeing and GE Aerospace to boost its future competitiveness. The deal includes the introduction of 20 units each of the Boeing 777-9 and Boeing 787-10 models by 2033, with an option to add 10 more aircraft. The agreement also includes the purchase of 8 spare engines and cooperation on maintenance services for the GE9X engine for the Boeing 777-9 with GE Aerospace.
