Following the lifting of the Land Transaction Permission System (LTPS), apartment transactions in Seoul have increased, while transactions for row and multi-family houses have been sluggish, according to real estate information platform Dabang. Last month, apartment transactions in Seoul saw a 91% increase from the same period last year, while row and multi-family houses saw a mere 2% increase. In the Gangnam district, where the LTPS was lifted, the transaction volume for row and multi-family houses actually decreased, contributing to market polarization.
